Welcome to the official Da--Revolution club, in which you are allowed to express your thoughts and bad experiences with the administration and members of the DeviantArt community. You are also more than welcome to feature your art and creativity here!

This group is about reformatting the site, showcasing the genuine talent of our illustrators, and reporting major issues on this platform. Before you ask us anything, we suggest you read our codes of conduct. If you have any queries, contact us via note.

NOTE: We do not allow AI-generated artwork. Do not post that here. We have zero tolerance for artwork crafted by a program that steals art from others to generate a new digital illustration.

~ SEND YOUR REPORTS THROUGH NOTES, PLEASE! ~

~ DON'T POST YOUR REPORTS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION! ~

NOTE: Members must have their accounts at least six months old on the platform before they join our group. It’s nothing special, but there were several attempts to empty accounts before joining our group.

Allowed!

1. Folders related to stamps. Stamps about copyright violation, deviantART stupidity, anti-pedophilia, anti-pornography, and anti-Rule 34.

2. Folders related to digital illustrations, traditional art, ACEO cards and tribal tattoos, movies and animations, and other stuff. You can submit whatever you want. As long as it’s not stolen, we won’t stop you from doing that.

3. Folders related to tracking and reporting main issues, such as pornography, pedophilia, cybersex, and other fundamental problems. If you have any journal entries related to this matter, post them into related folders so we can easily report them. As for literature, complaints, and other written pieces, submit them to other folders.

NOT ALLOWED!

Politicians, the rabid fandom community, and politics.

4. Yes, they can sometimes—usually always—be stupid, but we don’t want to see you submit your written pieces or illustrations related to this matter. While we may love delving into these subjects, they’re not compatible with our mission here at Da--Revolution. Please refrain from starting a discussion or injecting into a discussion anything that can be put into these categories.

5. Go to WeDontThinkSo, Express-Your-Hatred, DAPoliticalForumClub, ControversyInc, Anti-Illuminati-01, AntiAllThings, and Explicit-opinions for stuff like politicians, rabid fan communities, or both. There are many groups out there if you want to express your thoughts about politics and the fandom community. We are not one of them. Special thanks to LoboTaker for mentioning the last two groups dedicated to this theme.

Stuff that creates more drama than help.

6. We won’t tolerate that; you have your profile where you can express your hysteria as much as you wish. No one will cease you in that. Just keep our group away from your useless drama. Thank you. Moreover, strive to be as repellent as you can, and your life will improve. That is all we ask of you.

7. Trolls. You’d think this is obvious, but it isn’t. Once it’s revealed that someone is an Internet troll, stop talking to them, stop mentioning them, and stop contacting them. Do you want to go back to the DeviantART kindergarten to learn all this again? If you spot a troll, report them and move on! Yes, you can send your reports related to the trolls that you founded.

NOTE: Co-Leaders (Co-Founders) have the same job as the Founder; they only help moderate the entire group.

Co-Founder

8. Co-founders have the same jobs as founders, but there are some extra things that they can do. Your co-founders are the ones that hide any unnecessary comments, like spam, troll comments, or complaint comments. They are also the ones who moderate what goes into the gallery and answer some of your notes.

9. Be aware the Administrators may not always answer your comments or notes, as we are all busy with other life commitments. Be patient, and someone will get to your message soon.

10. We are not the deviantART operators; we are just deviants looking to protect the community. If you thought the silence was peaceful, you have yet to meet us. Currently, DeviantART is filled with obscene nude photographs, pedophiles, perverts, trolls, and more. Our goal is to help the moderators fix this by reporting deviations and users and helping cut down on such images and members on DeviantArt to make it a much friendlier place.

11. The mission of this group is to help administrators modernize the community by sending them every complaint and every issue that we come across. We will also do our best to help victims of DeviantART corruption raise their voices and share the experience that they had with the corrupted developers’ team. We also like to feature our loud opinions and thoughts about this community.

12. The only thing they see is darkness, but what they don’t know is that darkness can see them too.

13. The primary purpose of this group is to encourage silent, anonymous reporting; nevertheless, we also aid in reporting when necessary.

14. We no longer support or endorse screenshots. DeviantART prohibits them, so it’s not our fault. Unless it’s a tutorial or something helpful, then we will allow it.

No stealing. If someone here is stealing work, please let us know.

15. Please show some respect for our members and the administration in this group. No harassing of the group or other members; we do not allow trolling either. I’m not in the mood to deal with douchebags that get themselves banned. I will not re-invite you if you come back asking to rejoin; it makes us look dumb. We will remove all of your work from our group gallery.

16. We will not tolerate publishing stuff that creates more drama than helps.

17. We cannot report plagiarized art; we can’t. If you think you must, then tell the original artist, not us.

18. If you feel there is a need for another folder in the gallery, please note the group, and we will be happy to add it.

19. NO PORNOGRAPHY. There is a difference between art and pornography! LEARN THAT!

20. We do not tolerate harassing ANY deviant for ANY reason; sometimes they genuinely don’t know what they have done wrong. We do oversee telling them politely of the mistakes they have made and reporting them correctly!

21. Please do not try getting this group involved in personal fights with users. If we see your judgment dedicated to that, we will flag it as spam!

22. Please respect the reporting system and do not abuse it. Do not go addressing everything that offends you and saying it is worth reporting.

23. You can review How to Report a Violation.

24. DO NOT FLOOD THE GROUP! Only send new reports related to pornographic artists or deviants. We will flag hateful comments toward the group or its members as spam!

25. NO FLAMING OR ARGUING WITH OTHER MEMBERS! Do not start an argument with someone on the home page. If you feel another member is out of line, note the group by sending the URL address of the malicious comment, and the group administrators will look into it. Members found that starting an argument on the front page would end up being blocked without warning!

26. NOTE THE GROUP IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! This goes for everyone, members or not. Do not, I repeat, do not post hate comments or slander against the group on the front page. Don’t even do it in your journals. Refrain from sending complaints about the way we run the group on the front page. You’ll attract the wrong attention as well as encourage others to harass you because of that.

27. We will hide reports related to harassment, as third-party harassment reports are no longer valid by the deviantART administrators. Blame Daniel for this, not us.

28. The official copyright website can keep you up-to-date with anything you need to know.

29. :lock: * A petition asking for art theft policy reform.

If this reaches two thousand signatures, we may well see a change in the way this site deals with various cases of possible copyright infringement.

* The petition has been locked. It's no longer active.

30. This is a Tumblr page devoted to stopping theft! Another deviant asked Silent-enforcers in the community to have it here.

31. Artist Confessions can be used to disclose big popular art thieves anonymously, so their fans won’t swarm your page with hateful messages, it also serves as a place for artists to reflect on themselves and one another.

https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/994388001/5124495428 As the cherry on top, all content in the featured folders will be lost during migration. Unless admins manually copy, one by one, all the artworks contained in the Featured Folders into another gallery, they are losing their time to do a dumb and recursive, time-wasting operation that could have been spared to us if only the DA team had at least provided us a tool to automatically transfer the old Featured Folders' content into a new folder. New folders can only be created by admins having Core membership! Yes, you read it well. If you are not a subscriber, you cannot create new folders! This is so shitty, and I don't know what to do. This move will kill groups. The inept idiotic developers have found another way to earn more money. :X

Only three days have left before they switch us to the new clunky user interface. I hate their decision. With this move, they will kill our groups, which is going to be an official end for the old community. I cannot wait for Sheezy to dethrone them. The new platform looks promising, and the rules are simple and on point. I hope they will launch groups soon, and when that happens, everybody will pack their luggage and get the hell out of here. I cannot wait for that day to come. Eclipse sucks!

I don't understand the hype the website caused two years ago when it appeared as the "perfect alternative" to DeviantART Inc. Every time I visit it, I see a spinning circle. It won't open the profile or the home page. My Internet connection remains stable, thereby rendering it irrelevant to my situation. If they want to be tough competition for someone, then they need to work on coding and performance. Also, the UI is extremely vicious. It's uglier than this website! What a load and a joke!

DeviantArt is no longer worth the effort. Reporting inappropriate pictures is pointless because nobody views reports, and even if they do, they shrug it off and ignore it. Spammers are everywhere, and the algorithm keeps failing to fetch them. I'm considering quitting to focus on more important things in my life. There are too many art thieves, kids, and explicit content on DeviantArt. The site can't handle it all. It takes staff members too long to review reported stuff. I will stay here and keep managing my groups. Lots of them are dead, so the current one will be my focus, but I'm done with hunting art thieves. There are thousands of art robbers, little kids, and porn, and every day the numbers are growing. :grump:

For the past few weeks, I have documented over 60,000 of them and sent them to the staff members to ban them. Today, I reported over 300! I've spent six hours reporting junk. I wish inept developers would prevent this or implement a better system since the filter is rubbish.

I don't get it! No matter how many groups I feature my art in, it barely gets recognized. Either the algorithms don't work or the site is much emptier than before, thanks to the exodus prompted by AI-generated art. Foot fetish crap, spam, and AI-generated garbage are rife. What's the point of utilizing tags if you can't obtain more favorites for your work or the artists' work you're sharing? I miss the old community when you could upload a piece of work or share work from another artist as long as you followed his policy and got plenty of favorites and followers. You are currently receiving nothing in return. This sucks! :grump:

Everywhere is eerily silent, and I feel disheartened every time I come here. I am not even frustrated or exasperated. All I feel is an emptiness inside of me when I come here. I expect to see something, but I see nothing. There is less and less good artwork to see and collect. The “team” is not making any “declarations” because of the litigation and class action lawsuits artists have lodged against them. There are no updates about the “progress” of the website from them, either. Perhaps that explains much of why they have been so quiet lately. They will not complete the website, and it will stay that way forever. :grump: This sucks!

As the title says, the home page has progressively deteriorated over the past few months. On this profile, I see the generated works of artificial intelligence. Some of these AI clients have become so sophisticated that it is impossible to recognize them, let alone tell the difference between the first digital drawing and a drawing by AI. On my alternate profile, I see garbage. Photos of dirty feet, asses, toes, fake nails that look vulgar and whore, and other trash. I find fewer and fewer high-quality works that interest me, and what is of high quality is meant for visitors to persuade them and encourage them to create a profile here. When they do, they select the topics they want to follow. Based on that, the algorithm recommends what they will get on the home page. Instead of getting what they opted for, they get what I mentioned in the third paragraph. It looks good on paper, but in reality, it is a complete failure. The feature does not work as expected; either someone messed up

I'm in awe of how this group has developed. I would like to thank the administrators and friends who helped me with this. What was once simply a simple hashtag has evolved into a movement. In any case, it's an improvement over (Cough) We Bring Justice (Cough), but truly, I want to thank everyone on this website for everything.

Thanks SO MUCH for adding my post to this group!
I want the lick and drag back
Ah. Well. The bastards got me again. Not surprising, but still aggravating. I'd rejoin the group, but I wouldn't want to clog it with dead accounts. I'll just watch and be with you in spirit.
Hello! Happy to join you! Sorry I couldn't respond earlier, as I was under what I assume to be a temporary commenting ban. Either that or the spam detectors are as screwed up as the rest of the site.
